Chrome Extension will not autofill or fill at all!

I'm running Mavericks and Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101. I am running 1password 4.0.3 and the extension will not work. I have updated all software, but the extension will not work. I uninstalled the extension but still have not been able to get the extension to work.

I am at the end of my rope, please someone help me.

    I would like to apologize for the delay in responding but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're working hard to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the Chrome extension right now. Unfortunately, I'm going to need a bit more information on just how the extension is not working in order to get it all polished up for you. :)

    First of all, you mention that you are running 1Password 4.0.3. The current version is 4.0.5 (4.0.7 for users who have purchased from our website.) Could you please update your copy of 1Password and see if things behave a bit better for you?

    If you are still seeing problems, here's what I'd love to know:

    • Do you see a specific error message when trying to fill? (If so, please take a screenshot or let me know what it's telling you!)
    • Are you unable to fill in all sites, or are there a few troublesome ones?
    • What are the steps that you take when trying to log in to a site? Please include what you expect to happen, and what actually happens.

    I'm experiencing the same the dialogue box says "Cannot fill item in Google Chrome"

    Hi Deborah,

    There's been an update to 1Password since you posted this, could you please ensure you are on the latest version (4.0.8 for Mac App Store purchasers and 4.0.9 for those who purchased from our website.) I'd also like you to see if Chrome needs to be updated.

    If you are still seeing issues after updating to the latest versions, please let me know! :)
