Wrong masterpassword

I just purchased 1Password. When asked to generate a sentence for the master password, I typed in a sentence containing all letters that was 32 characters. When I tried to open my new account, I typed in my secret sentence but was locked out! It only allows about 18 characters. Can I reinstall the software and recreate a new master password? Not sure what I did wrong. Thanks.

    Is it true that a master password cannot be longer than 18 characters? Mine is longer by a few characters, and I haven't seen notice that there is any limit. But I I've been part of a discussion that advocates much longer master passwords elsewhere in the forum.

    AFAIK, no there is no limitation.

    I can personally say, I have easily breached the 30 character limit on the Master Password.

    Edit: Now..., I am a long time user from 1Password 2.
