Just upgraded to 4.0.7 and after entering a new login entry then trying to edit that entry to app is crashing. Anyone else experiencing this??

I had this happen. Guessing that this was an anomaly, I rebooted my system. After login in again, I found that 4.07 was not crashing when trying to edit.
    It may be, that

Ditto. I reported this in the Beta section too. 100% reproducible.

got the notification for an update to 4.0.7 this morning and now any attempt to edit an entry results in an immediate crash. Prior versions of 1PW4 have been solid on this machine until this latest update - what happened??? Steps to recreate - create a new entry as a 'Password', save it, attempt to edit it, crash.

Me three. What happened? Bug report went off about 4 times today. Roll back to 4.0.5?

    Hi there, @sjk

Don't worry about it... I am glad that this bug has been fixed…

But maybe there's an other one, when I try to edit a login-entry.

Here are my steps to reproduce the issue:

    1. Create a new login entry

    2. Save the new login entry

    3. Try to edit the new login entry

    4. Result: Crash of 1Password.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for reporting this. Until we can investigate it further can you check if the crash still occurs after restarting 1Password mini?

@sjk, restarting 1P Mini resolved the issue for me of this crash mentioned in the beta forum. I'll update that thread to refer to this one.

    Thank you, @Stephen_C!

We're looking into why 1P mini isn't always restarted after an update, which has side effects like this.

    Hi @sjk

I think it would be good, if 1P mini always gets restarted after an update.
Maybe your dev-folks can implement that into the update-process...

I am experiencing the crash again consistently. The system was already restarted last night, and there were no updates to 1P4 since.

Hi, @MrC. I'm sorry you're still getting crashes with 4.0.7.

When convenient, could you please describe exactly which steps are consistently reproducing this problem after a 1P mini and/or system restart? Thanks!

@immortalis: Re: automatic post-update 1P mini restart. We concur. :)

I've submitted several crash reports, all the same set of activities. I had submitted a new web page which offered to, and did, create a new login, used Search in 1P4 to find it, and tried to Edit. Nothing happens. Click Edit again, and 1P4 crashes.

Restart of 1P Mini appears to do the trick. Thanks.

    Thanks for the followups, guys.

We have identified the cause of more stubborn 4.0.7 crashes that you and other folks have reported and expect to have a new update soon to resolve it.
