Wifi Synch - (MacVersion 4.05) & (iPhoneVersion 4.3.1)

In using the new version 4 on Mac and iPhone, when wirelessly synch is made conflicts arise. After making a change on the Mac, then running wifi synch, the login information is updated on both devices, but what remains is a new line item called "conflicts." After going into edit, we can delete the "conflict" by clicking the red minus sign. Once deleted, the conflict goes away and does not come back after synching again. Is this the designed feature or is there a way to eliminate the conflict item from being added?
