Truncated Synced Passwords

I'm using 1Password 4.0.9 on the OS X 10.9, and 1Password 4.3.1 on iOS 7.0.3.

I sync with through iCloud and this seems to work well. But I am coming across several passwords on iOS which are truncated.

For example - password 123456ABC on OS X will sync as 123456A

Any suggestions for where to look for the problem?

    Hi @saronian,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble staying synced up! Is this consistent across all of your passwords or are you only noticing it on one or two? I'd also like you to try creating a test entry on your Mac with a long password. Does it sync over to your iOS device correctly?

Thanks for replying. I have only come across two truncated passwords, and it is the same two on both iPhone & iPad. I dis attest entry with 50 character password and it synced correctly and fully. It's starting to look like I should restart the process with a full clean sync to iPhone & iPad.

    Hi @saronian,

A clean sync could help. I'm also curious, if you edit the truncated entries on your Mac (add a note, for example) does that kickstart a proper sync of the time?

I went ahead and did a new clean sync before I read your note. Everything is working well now. I'm using WiFi syncing because iCloud syncing doesn't seem to work. It looks like it's working, but just spins forever.

    Hi @saronian,

I'm glad to hear that things are all synced up now. Please note that we have recently discovered an animation bug in the most recent iOS version: the gears don't seem to get the message that a sync has been completed and they keep spinning endlessly. Our techs are confident that it is not a sync issue, and they're working to squash the bug and get things behaving properly again just as soon as possible! :)
