How to stop 1Password always asking to be unlocked when entering or adding login details?

As far as I can remember 1Password 3 wasn't like this.

A couple of other password managers that I have used, as well as Apple's own iCloud Keychain do not ask for the master password/key this frequently either.

Is there a way to disable this feature? What are the risks in doing so?

Thanks.

Update

I disabled locking in the Preferences pane altogether.

    Hi @mystery_aurora,

I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're all working hard and putting in extra hours to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.

I am glad to hear you found the solution to your issue. The only risk in disabling locking is that your database could potentially be unlocked if someone gained access to your computer. However, if this is not a significant concern for you, then you are welcome to set the preferences however you see fit.

If you do have any further questions, we're here to help!
