All logins gone after update!
I have been on Lion untill a couple of days ago. Then I wiped my HDD and installed a clean version of Mavericks. Then I installed dropbox and redownloaded my 1Password keychain. Then I installed the latest 1Password from the App Store. After starting it it found my dropbox keychain and accepted my master password however none of my logins showed up. Upon inspecting the keychain package I found that 1Password had created conflicting copies and that the new copies were only a couple of bytes in size. I tried deleting the new files and renaming the conflicts back to the original filenames but this did not help at all. What can I do? This is a huge problem!

@marsianbuddy Maybe try starting over. Follow the linked instructions, and before you start setup again please ensure that your 1Password.agilekeychain is located at:
~/Dropbox/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain

@JasperP I tried your suggestion and started over but it made no difference. 1Password found my Dropbox keychain as before and accepted my master password as before but when it showed me my vault there were no logins there. What can I try next?

I'm encountering something similar. My old MacBook Air went disastrously wrong last week, and its replacement is now up and running - of course, with an entirely fresh installation of 1Password 4, downloaded off the website. But when I start the app, and it automatically points at my Dropbox keychain, there are no entries at all in the window. Everything is still there when I use my iPad or iPhone - just not on the computer. Suggestions? Please?
I've tried dumping and starting over, as explained above. No joy. Help.

Ignore me. After the last start-over, I disabled dropbox sync on the iPad and then re-enabled it. All entries now visible in 1P4 on the Mac, too. Sorry about that.

@marsianbuddy And was this the exact location of your keychain:
~/Dropbox/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain
Other than that, I'm not really sure what else to try, sorry. Someone from AgileBits ( @Megan or @sjk) will need to help you out.
@jcsj Glad you got it working! :D

Hi @marsianbuddy,
I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having with 1Password 4 lately! Are you using 1Password on any other computers or devices other than this computer? I would also like to see a Diagnostic Report from your computer.
Please download the 1Password Troubleshooting utility and follow the instructions to generate the report.
Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

Hi Megan
I manged to sort it out with the help of one of your colleagues. It seems that 1Password 3 was using two keychains (one empty) and v4 only found the empty one which was the one that was in the default location. Anyway, it works now on my Mac. Just need to figure out how to make it work with iPhone as well.

Hi @marsianbuddy,
I'm so glad to hear that you managed to get things all sorted out! Getting your database on your phone should be relatively simple. Simply install the Dropbox app on your iPhone. Then, when you open 1Password 4 for the first time, select "I've used 1Password before" and sync via Dropbox. :) If you need more detailed instructions, please let me know!
