1PW4 and Keyboard Maestro

I had set up Keyboard Maestro macros in 1PW3 that allowed me to fill in my identity and my credit card info using a keystroke. Specifically, the macro opened the extension and then tabbed down to the identity or credit card section, finally choosing the relevant item.

I can't see how (or if) to do a similar thing in 1PW4. Yes, one can use the down arrow to move between the sections in 1PW Mini. But this is not good enough for setting up a macro. The trouble is that there is an unknown number if items in the top section (depending on how many, if any, passwords have been saved for related domains). There's probably a way round this, but I don't know it.

As this is major importance to me, I went back to 1PW3.

I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're all working hard and putting in extra hours to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.

I'm so sorry that the upgrade to version 4 isn't playing nicely with your macros. Try setting things up this way:

1. Open Mini
2. Search for your identity or credit card
3. Enter

Does this work any better?

I'll try when I have time to spare. Offhand (that is, working from memory rather than testing) I don't see how to put focus in the search bar.

Of course, once you have time to spare from more important things, if 1PW Mini had a keyboard shortcut to choose a particular category that would solve the problem and might help others too.

Later. Oh, I see, now I have had time to check. The focus is already in the search bar, I don't have to get there.

Yes, I think that will work once I have had time to get the macro right.

Yes, it is now working ok.

There are a bunch of sites (all based on the same source code) where using an identity in Mini does not fill in my phone number. I suspect the source code is bad (though my memory is that in 1PW3 the phone number filled ok), but a change in my macro dealt with this. I'll notify you if I get more insight into this.

Do you have an example of any specific site(s) where phone number filling from an Identity item isn't working? I'd like to check if this correlates with a similar reported issue we're tracking. Thanks!
