Question from a potential new customer
Hi
Here's the situation.
I use a number of Macs at home (one macbook pro, one iMac) but also have to use a windows laptop at work. I don't have admin access on the work laptop (they're in the stone age, all locked down). It's the same set of secure passwords I need in all locations. I can see that I'd need a license for each device but I'm concerned that I won't be able to use 1Password at work because I can't install anything.
How would I do this? Would the browser plugins give me access to the passwords when I'm at work?
Bit confused.

Hey Jonathan,
You're correct that you wouldn't be able to install 1Password for Windows, it requires admin privileges to install. The browser extension talks to the main app, so that won't work either. If you can't persuade your IT folks to let you install 1Password, 1PasswordAnywhere may be a sufficient alternative for you.
Also, licenses are per user - so you'll just need to purchase one license for yourself.
If you are able to convince someone to allow you to install 1Password on your work PC, you'll want the 1Password Mac + Windows Bundle.
Or if you'd just like to use 1PasswordAnywhere on Windows, you'll want a 1Password for Mac license. Alternatively, you could purchase on the Mac App Store.
Hope that helps! :D
