1password thinks V3 Extension is still installed

I continue to get a message indicating that Safari still has the 1Password 3 extension installed. I checked Safari's extension and the 1Password extension that is installed is 4?

Since I've been getting this message ever since upgrading to 4, I thought I'd try to disable it and reenable it in Safari but now when I launch 1Password 4 app, I get a message it can't communicate with the 1Password mini. I tried restating Safari.

I'm running Maverick.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
Howie

    Hi, Howie ( @HRichburg ),

I'm sorry you're having some trouble with 1Password 4. Let's get it working properly!

Do you have any other users accounts on your Mac that have the 1Password 3 Safari extension installed? That's one reason you might be seeing this message when you run Safari:

Uninstalling the 1P3 extension in Safari from the other account(s) should make that go away for your account.

In addition to restarting Safari, have you also tried restarting your system to see if that resolves the problem with connecting to 1Password mini?

If you still have either issue after that please email us a Diagnostics Report and we'll help you figure this out in email; instructions are here:

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forum, but do include a link to this topic in the email so we can "connect the dots" when we receive it. A quick comment here mentioning that you've sent it would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!
