I noticed when using 1P the following features are no longer available:

When the web site password is updated there is no option to update the password. Also, when I type in the a name which can be the same as the Web site name 1password generates another login form with the same name!

Also, where is the show generated passwords function? Version 3 allowed you to copy password from a saved history. Is that feature deprecated?

    Hi, @brownujr.

I'm sorry you're having these issues with 1Password 4. Let's go through each of them and figure them out.

When the web site password is updated there is no option to update the password.

What might have happened when you made the password change is that 1P4 was unable to locate a corresponding Login item and offer to update it like:

This document may be helpful for password updates you do in the future:

How to Update A Password On A Website

Also, when I type in the a name which can be the same as the Web site name 1password generates another login form with the same name!

Did you see this 1Password Autosave window for saving a new Login item when you weren't expecting to?

Can you describe a bit more about what you did that wasn't working properly?

We are working hard to improve the process of password updating with 1P4 in cases like yours where it currently doesn't work as expected/intended.

Also, where is the show generated passwords function?

Check the Passwords category in the sidebar. :)

I hope that information is helpful. If you have other questions please let me know.
