1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini - after latest update

I am not able to start 1password on my mac after the latest update yesterday. I get the error - 1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini.

I rebooted and tried but that did not help

i am running 1password4 on OSX 10.9.

I switched back to the previous version - Version 4.0.9 (409002). Everything works fine. So the problem is with the new update.

I did the update again and now it appears that the update was successful.

Yes had the same. Re-installing the plugin seems to have fixed it for me.

What plugin did you reinstall? I am having this problem too and nothing seems to help
