Leftover junk in ~/Library/Application Support
Hi,
I seem to have a lots of crap in ~/Library/Application Support. Specifically, what appear to be previous versions end up there, as in this screenshot:
Each folder contains both the 1Password app and a zip of it, totalling anywhere between 50 MB and 100 MB each. Are these folders necessary, or can I delete them?
Cheers,
fort

I deleted everything except for Backups, Data, License, and Mustaches-001, and everything seems to be working fine. I didn't have the 3rd Party Integration folder (possibly because I didn't have that checked in preferences). I hope I didn't screw up anything under the hood. If a veteran Mac user could chime in, that would be great!
Thanks,

Yours appears to be possibly failed update attempts or even updates that didn't remove the originals.
Looking at your screen shot you had multiple attempts to update to the version 4.02. If I am not mistaken that was the version that had to be manually updated. Explaining why the updates would fail. This was also the beta build expired version (4.02) so its possible that you manually followed the update instructions and that the auto updater left some stuff behind.
I cant speak for the staff but I have non of those folders on 5 other Macs and the numbering sequence of them is indicative if successive attempts to update. Its the same as the numbering when you download the same file multiple times from Safari it always get appended with space and the download attempt.
Ex
- 402001 - Initial attempt
- 402001 1 second attempt
- 402001 2 third attempt

PS the Mustaches-001 needs to remain

Thanks Lakey and thightower. I've deleted the folders. I remember having to do a clean install a couple of times because the installer failed. Anyway, problem solved. Cheers!
