Cannot establish folder sync

Hello, folder sync and dropbox sync are not working on my system. For both of these options, when I attempt to set up the folder I get an error message. iCloud sync is working fine but I really want to sync a local folder.
I have the 1PW 4.1 App Store Version installed. My machine is an early 2011 MBP running Mavericks 10.9.1.

    I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up Dropbox and Folder Sync. Could you please tell me what the error message you're seeing says? If it's easier, you can take a screenshot: there are instructions on how to take a screenshot here: http://take-a-screenshot.org/. You can save the image to a service like Dropbox or Droplr and include a link in your reply.
