1P iCloud not properly syncing between two Macs
I have two Macs side by side both "syncing" to the same iCloud account yet both instances of 1Password show different item counts. I've tried starting from scratch on the machine with the incorrect counts (MacBook Pro) and the sync still didn't update properly.

What am I doing wrong?
UPDATE: On the problematic MacBook Pro, there is another oddity happening. Every time I launch 1Password (either at startup or from the mini app) it acts as if I'm starting 1Password for the first time--I get the "Welcome to 1Password 4" splash screen, my preferences aren't saved, it asks if I want to use rich icons, etc.

I found the following thread and appear to be having the same issues, though a restart is not fixing the issue. I can't find a plist file in ~/Library/Preferences as the poster in the thread below also noted.

It turns out the syncing issue was rooted in the iMac. I started over (first exporting everything to a 1pif file), re-synced with iCloud, then imported the 1pif file and the syncing issue was resolved. Somehow the syncing copy on iCloud was weeks old. Hopefully this doesn't repeat itself.
Still have the issue of the persistent initial startup screen, but I'll take that to another thread.

Hi Dane,
I'm so glad to hear you managed to get things sorted out, although I wish it wouldn't have been such a daunting process for you! We'll deal with your persistent start-up question in the thread you commented in - thanks so much for helping to keep things organized :)
