Multi-Vault transparency during basic usage
I've seen this feature request/issue raised in other threads, but it seems like it's been a while now, and I can't find any promise on the part of AgileBits as to when they might improve this situation. I'd like to know what the current state of this issue is please...
The Multiple Vault feature is somewhat useless to our company the way it is now. We thought we'd use it to share passwords "owned" by the company, but people don't like having to move away from their personal vaults to get to the company passwords. They prefer to do as they always did...copy the company passwords into THEIR vault from our current password system, PassPack.
I feel that 1Password is aching for a way to use multiple vaults transparently; that is, to be able to use the basic search box to gain access to entries across all vaults. I have seen some call this the "unified view". If that's the best way to implement it, that would be fine. Another way would be to have the notion of sub-vaults, where the contents of a vault attached to a parent vault showed up in the parent vault. We don't so much care how it's implemented as long as we can split up our entries into multiple vaults and yet have the basic functionality of 1Password, that of logging onto sites or filling in forms on web sites, not require knowledge of which vault an entry is in.
Is this feature on the roadmap? Any ETA? Am I (gosh this would be so fabulous) just overlooking this feature in the Beta?
TIA for any info.

Hi @Blatwurst,
I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're all working hard and putting in extra hours to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.
As you mention, this issue has been raised in other threads, and our developers are aware of this feature request. Unfortunately, we aren't able to provide many details about unreleased features. There are just too many factors involved (many of which are beyond our control), and we'd hate to promise something that ultimately became impossible.
I'm with you - I think this could be a very useful feature, and I'll be sure to add your vote to the request! :)
