All my attachments in 1P are corrupted files with 0 bytes [moved to email]
Hi,
somewhere on the way in my 1P life, it seems that all of my attachments of 1P have been crippled to 0 bytes empty files. The attachments still show in 1P, but if I double click, I get the error, that the file cannot be opened.
I have stored PDFs, JPEG, EML files and ALL of them are gone. This is a true nightmare for me now.
Any clues which offer a chance to revive them would be truly welcome.

I'm sorry that I can't provide you with immediate help (I'm only a user) but, in order to help others to help you, it would be useful to know:
- what is the version number of 1P4 for OS X that you are using;
- whether you sync between 1P4 for OS X and 1P4 for iOS and, if so, which method you use and what version number of 1P4 for iOS you are using;
- when you first noticed the problem and whether you have backups (either via OS X or internally in 1P4 with its automatic backups under Preferences > Backup) from before the date you first noticed the problem;
- if you sync with iOS, whether the attachments are still visible on any iDevice.

Hi, @ovonquadt.
I'm so sorry you're having this problem with opening your attachments in 1Password 4. If you can send a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, plus information that @Stephen_C asked about in 2-4, we'll help you get this sorted out through email; instructions are here:
Sending us your Diagnostics Report to help us help you!
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forum, but do include a link to this topic and your forum username in the email so we can "connect the dots" when we receive it. A quick comment here mentioning that you've sent it would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I have the exact same problem. I stored license key files that some of my software uses instead of serial numbers. All these files are corrupt and cannot be read. I have to go through the long process of emailing those companies, go through glacial support until I get back stuff I need. This is truly a nightmare for 1P that is supposed to keep your information safe and secure. I really use 1P a lot but this is very, very annoying.
Will send a diagnostic report to see if this can get sorted out.0
