Can't access dropbox vault on a Mac after master password change. [moved to email]

I have recently changed my master password and now I can not access password from one of my Macs.
Set-up: 2 Macs 10.9.1 1Password 4.1 (MAS) and 1Password 4.3.2 (IOS) on iPad and iPhone - all synced via dropbox.
All are ok apart from my 2nd mac.
I have accessed 1Password anywhere from a dropbox web interface and this is up-to-date.
Dropbox seems to be working fine on my 2nd mac with new files syncing correctly.
I have tried removing and re-installing 1password app from the Mac App Store but no luck.
Very strangely I can login using my old master password but the vault is not up to date.
I even tried "chaining sync" and "Disable Sync" - now when I reopen 1Password it finds dropbox again and still does not work.
I have run the 1password diagnostics tool and reset all permissions and restarted all services - I emailed the diagnostic report on 2 Jan (hostname ceylon).
So - it seems as though 1Password is not picking up the updated keychain in dropbox?
I am at a loss as to what I can do now to trouble shoot this further - please can yo help.

Looking to see if anyone replied I spotted this - seems as though this could be the same issue as I am having as I can login on my 2nd mac with my OLD password (and new vault items are present).
