1PW4 for Mac (Single User License)

I upgraded to 1PW4 (Single User License - SUL) several weeks ago. And, if memory serves, I had a SUL prior to the 1PW4 upgrade. However, in both cases, my spouse was and is able to use 1PW when logged into her OS X Mavericks User Account. Her 1PW file(s) appear to be entirely distinct and separate from my 1PW file(s). However, after reading the License Terms today, it would appear that we need a Family License. Please advise.

    If you and your wife are maintaining separate password databases, the family license is the correct choice for you. Please you input your current license information in the field on our upgrade page, to see your available discount on all our products, including the Mac family license.

    $49.99 ... oouch. Out of curiosity, is this a new licensing policy since I bought 1PW3 for Mac? Am I correct that using Vaults is the best way for 2 people to use a single user license?

    The price of the 1Password 4 for Mac family license upgrade is $34.99. $49.99 is for the 1Password Mac + Windows Bundle family license upgrade.
