REQ: Manual Folder Sorting

This is a feature request to allow manual placement of Folders/Smart Folders in the 1Password 4 sidebar.

Unfortunately, unlike 1Password 3, or iTunes, Folders and Smart Folders are all jumbled together in alphabetical order ("Smart" folders/playlists are sorted separately from the non-smart versions in 1Password 3 and in iTunes).

The current behavior creates a visual and organizational mess, but I know that the developers are not intending to re-introduce the old behavior.

This is a request to allow manual sorting, so we can at least bring some visual and organizational coherence to the sidebar.

Thanks.

    Hi, @HenryY.

I've filed an improvement request to allow manually sorted sidebar Folders/Smart Folders. You already know a workaround. :)

@sjk Thanks for filing the improvement request. This is a personal irritant and pet peeve of mine in 1P4, especially since iTunes, Mail.app, 1Password 3, and the 1Password Betas did not behave in this way.

I also don't think we should have to resort to workarounds to replace broken functionality.

Noted, @HenryY, although unless I'm missing something iTunes folders can't be manually sorted. :)

@sjk, Yup, iTunes folders can't be manually sorted, but they're sorted "correctly". The "Smart" versions always appear before the "non-Smart" and aren't all jumbled together.

    True, @HenryY. :)

Automatic separation of regular and smart folders would be desirable, either instead of or in addition to manual sorting.

Yup, for lack of better words, the current behavior is "unMac-like" as it doesn't behave like any other OS X application, nor does it even behave like 1Password 3.x.
