1Password 4 for Mac not syncing with iOS devices that also use 1Password 4

Our 1Password 4.1 for Mac (purchased through Apple App Store) does not sync with iOS devices which use 1Password 4.3.2.
Dropbox is used on all devices for syncing; Dropbox is working for other purposes on all devices including iMac.
Our iMac uses OS X 10.9.1; our iOS devices use iOS 7.0.4.

Illustration of problem:
1) Several days ago, used iPad Air to add a new login and to subsequently edited details of this login.
2) New login with edits shows up on all other iOS devices (different iPad and iPhones).
3) New login does not show up on 1Password 4.1 for Mac even though sync on iMac was just completed.

Our current 1Password 4 replaced a version 4 purchased from AgileBits (so that we would have the option of using iCloud to sync). To date, all syncing has been via Dropbox.

    Hi, @aco.

I'm sorry Dropbox syncing with 1Password is misbehaving for you. Please refer to my reply here and let me know if it helps resolve your problem:

New Passwords not updating on other devices via Dropbox

    Thanks!

I have the latest version of 1Password for Mac (purchased from the App store) and also latest version on my iOS devices and sync as usual using Dropbox. Just noticed that I have the same problem and changes and new items made on my Mac are not appearing on my iOS devices. If I look at get info on the 1Password file in my Dropbox on my Mac it has a date of two months ago, so looks to me like 1Password on my Mac is not updating the file in Dropbox on my Mac. Hope you have an easy solution, I've come to depend on 1Password and this is the first serious problem I've had?

Update, was solved temporarily by following your instructions to disable and then re-enable Dropbox sync.

Thanks, @lwd. I was just about to ask if you'd tried that workaround and am glad to hear it did work. :)

I have got the same issue. Downloaded 1Password in my Mac and the app on my iPhone 5 (2 days ago both). Using Dropbox on both devices. It says its syncs on my iPhone, but nothing appears. Have tried it all.

    Hi, @kim13.

I'm sorry what you've tried so far hasn't fixed the trouble with 1Password with Dropbox syncing. Have you installed the 4.1.2 (MAS) or 4.1.3 (website) update on your Mac? And did you disable and reenable Dropbox syncing in 1P4 on your Mac and/or iPhone?

If you're still stuck please send a Diagnostics Report from your Mac and we'll help get this sorted out through email; instructions are here:

Sending us your Diagnostics Report to help us help you!

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forum, but do include a link to this topic and your forum username in the email so we can "connect the dots" when we receive it. A quick comment here mentioning that you've sent it would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Now I have a new problem, Dropbox syncing has stopped working completely on iOS devices, I assume this is related to the current Dropbox problems?

    That could be, @lwd.

What are the symptoms you're seeing that Dropbox syncing isn't working with 1Password and are you having any trouble with syncing in other apps?

I have multiple iOS devices running in all but one case iOS7, within 1Password there is a red exclamation mark next to settings and if I go to settings the exclamation mark is next to Dropbox and says "Last synced a second ago. There was a problem with the Dropbox service". I tried deleting the 1Password app on one device and can't even reconnect to Dropbox" and when it tries I get "An unexpected error occurred". I am still assuming this is all Dropbox related?

    Hi, @lwd.

Being unable to reconnect with Dropbox at all in 1P4 on iOS currently could be an issue with the Dropbox service still not being fully restored.

When you open the Dropbox app on iOS can you access your files there? Do you have any iOS app other than 1Password that you can test Dropbox syncing with? And are you able to sync with Dropbox on your Mac?

On iOS I can access my Dropbox files if I was already logged in, but not if I need to login again. Sorry don't have any other apps using Dropbox. Dropbox on Mac also seems to have problems connecting when I restart it, but had appeared okay before.

    Hi, @lwd.

If the Dropbox icon in the menu bar on your Mac doesn't have the green status check mark then there could still be some trouble with connecting/syncing there. And if you can't log in on iOS it's not cooperating there yet, plus the "Last synced a second ago. There was a problem with the Dropbox service" you saw in 1P4 indicating the problem's on their end.

Status - Dropbox currently says Dropbox is under maintenance. so I'd give them more time to sort out the issues.
