Two sets of data in ~/Library/Application Support/

I found that I had two copies of 1Password in my Applications folder -- one named 1Password and the other named 1Password 4. Since the latter one had a later version number I trashed the former. Now I find that I have two 1Password folders in my ~/Library/Application Support folder -- again, one named 1Password and the other named 1Password 4. Their contents are somewhat different. Which should I trash?

    Hi @scooper1,

First of all, I generally wouldn't recommend removing files from the Library - you could be removing files that the application needs to function. It sounds like you may have both the Mac App Store (1Password) and the webstore (1Password 4) versions currently installed on your system. We can certainly remove one, but first we need to determine which copy you want to keep.

Did you purchase a license directly from our website, or did you buy or upgrade from the Mac App Store?

I've got the same issue. Bought it directly from AgileBits. The contents in the folders are different, as illustrated in the images attached. (One folder is taking up over 1 GB while the other is rapidly approaching 1 GB.)

    Hi @mikevardy,

That does look like a lot of 1Password data there. In order to straighten things out though, I'd like to take a closer look at your system here before we delete anything. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

    http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/diagnostic-report.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
