Chrome extension not logging in to 1 Password (safari works fine)
I've just installed 1password onto my mac and then subsequently installed both the safari and chrome extensions. Everything is working as expected in Safari.
In chrome, however, I'm not at all able to access the tool at all. When I click on the icon, I'm just prompted for a password every time.
and it never actually logs in, even with the correct password.
I have tried re-installing the extension, but the problem persisted afterwards.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks,
Robert

I'm having issues with the Chrome extension as well. Over the weekend, the extension stopped filling in log-ins as well as not launching a new browser tab when I want to go to a different website/log-in.

Not sure when this started happening to me, maybe since the weekend when I updated 1Password 4. I'm getting similar problems to above. If I browse manually to a site cmd+\ will fill the login form. However, using the Chrome plugin to try and go to a webpage and fill it in is not working.

- 1Password - 4.1.2 (412009) (App Store Version)

Ok, I've figured this out to some extent. Turns out I have the latest version of 1password, version 4, which is not compatable with the version 3 chrome extension as explained here:
http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/v3-extensions.html
Which then begs the question, where do I find the chrome extension that is compatible with password version 4?

Hey @robertdavidwest,
Yup, you need the version 4 extension to use with 1Password 4. You can get it here:
Download 1Password 4 Browser Extensions
Hope that helps! :)

And @mango0322 and @mortstar,
Your issue is not related to that of the original poster's. You are using the beta version of the 1Password extension, and this is your issue:
New browser extension (4.1.0.b1) slow in Safari and broken in Chrome
(The Chrome go and fill issue has been fixed in 4.1.0.b2.)
If you don't want the beta extension, delete it and download the release version from here:
Download 1Password 4 Browser Extensions

Ok,
See the last section of the attached:
http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/setup.html
"Install the Browser Extensions". This will install the 4.0.1.99 chrome extension as required

Hey @robertdavidwest,
Were you able to install version 4.0.1 of the Chrome extension? Is everything working correctly now?
