Forms need to be filled in twice before they open
Hi, Version Version 4.1.3 (413002). I notice since a few upgrades ago over the past month, that when I choose a webpage from my 1Password favorites that it will load the page, put the user and pass in the fields, send the data to log me in and then be back on the login page again so that I am forced to use 1Password a second time to log into the form. Has anyone else seen this behavior? I am using most recent version of 1Password (beta I think) and most recent OS X and most recent Chrome and Firefox browsers.

Hi, @paddypdx.
I'm sorry you've been having trouble with 1P4 Go & Fill not doing the filling part. Are you using it from 1P mini and/or the main app? Is this happening with every page or just specific ones? If the latter, can you please post a URL so we can do some testing here?
Here are some things to try to see if it makes any difference:
Disable autosubmit for all items, as described and shown in this article:
Or you can disable it for a specific item in the main 1P4 app by selecting the Never submit option in the submit menu while in Edit mode:
Under 1P mini preference, if Open URLs in Current Tab is selected change it to … in New Tab or … New Window, e.g.:
In 1P mini:
- Use right-arrow to open item details of a matching item in 1P mini.
- Down-arrow to navigate to the website field.
- Tap Return (Enter) to Go & Fill with the field.
Those workarounds may help in Firefox and/or Chrome. We do have some confirmed Go & Fill issues in our tracker that will be resolved in future updates.

Once I changed it back to Open URLs in New Tab, it works again. I still have it auto submit but it didn't work when I had it do it in the same window. Which is a shame because it gets messy when new tabs are opening all the time.
