Password not accepted on New installation of 1PW on new ipad mini

I have been using 1PW on my mac and iPhone very successfully for over a year. I have installed it on a new ipad mini and it does not accept my password. I have read as many threads as possible and tried a range of things but nothing is working. My password still works on the iPhone and Mac. Please help. Thanks in advance.

after trying many things from other threads on this site I had success with deleting the 1PW data from the ipad using the instructions on this link. http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/iOS/Tutorials/ios-forgot-mp.html.
