Feature Request: Custom Categories with Tables

I find many times I want to keep some bits of information that would work best in a small table with in a secure note. This would force certain bits to be contained in a cell and easy to tap and copy. For instance, I have a secure note call VINs. I use it to keep the Vehicle Identification numbers for our four automobiles, actually, my car, my wife's, and each of my adult kid's cars.

I've added some other info to the note such as make, model, year, trim level, engine size, etc. Yes, I could keep this in Evernote or some other place but why? I already have part of it in 1Password so I'd prefer to keep it together. Since it is structured data, a table would be great. I could indicate the number of rows and columns.

Another approach might be a secure note that is actually a form, like a login, where I can add custom fields. Then I could create one VIN record and duplicate it for our other cars.

I would also use this for other bits of private information: social security numbers, medical ID numbers, insurance policy numbers, etc.

Any thoughts of your own?

Thanks for letting us know you are interested in this, @waxwing1. For now, you can use a [very] simple "two-column table" (effectively) by just creating custom fields. This doesn't work in a Secure Note, but Secure Notes have always been defined by their entirely freeform text (as opposed to structured data like, say, a Login).

(I moved your post from the Lounge to the 1Password 4 for Mac category. Please let me know if you were inquiring about a different version or platform. I'd love to make sure your post find the correct home.) :)
