I cannot select "Wi-Fi sync"

Hello,

I tried to "Local Wi-Fi sync" between Mac and iPhone, but I could not select "window>wi-fi sync" of 1P4 for MAC, because that part in the menu was grayed out.

I turned off "OS X firewall" and "on-access-scanner of Sophos Anti-Virus", then tried again, which was unsuccessful after all.

Please advise what I can do.

Version of my MAC OS is 10.9.1 (Japanese version), and 1Password for MAC is 4.1.2.

Thanks.

1P4 is unlocked when you try that, is it?

    Stephen,

    Thank you for your comment.

This is the first time for me to use 1P4 for MAC and I was trying to set up 1P4 for MAC.
So, I suppose it is unlocked.
When I use 1P4 for MAC for the first time, should I sync via Dropbox or iCloud, not Wi-Fi?

If you have input your master password 1P4 will be unlocked, so I guess it was unlocked for you. If you don't want to sync via Dropbox or iCloud there's no need to set up those before you use wi-fi sync. I use only wi-fi sync and have never set up to sync via Dropbox or iCloud.

I have one more thought. Is your iPhone running 1Password 4.3 for iOS or later? It needs to be in order for wi-fi sync to work. There is an article here in the knowledge base about wi-fi sync which might possibly help you.
