1 Password on 3rd Mac in house.
Have just installed 1password on third household mac; got message about creating new `vault' which I don't remember from installing on first & second Macs.
Am getting told that I can't sync to iCloud (on 3rd Mac) so can't access App on that Mac.

Don't want `vaults' as this is just for family/home use; not corporate/business.

How do I delete a vault I have accidentally created? I think this is the problem.

I have looked on forum & done the following x 3; I cannot get back to the option:
used password 1' or
new user' options.
VERY FRUSTRATED as I have gone through process as outlined & it has not worked.HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS I WORKED FROM:
Hold Control key down and select 1Password > Quit 1Password and 1Password mini from the menu.
Open Finder and select Go > Go to Folder menu.
Type ~/Library
If you have the Mac App Store version of 1Password, go to Containers folder and rename this folder 2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper to something else.
If you have the AgileBits store version of 1Password, go to Application Support folder and rename the 1Password 4 folder.
After that, launch 1Password again and start over.0 -
Just done it again & this time dragged all related folders to desk top, got to start up this time but cannot get what I've got in icloud onto this mac.

Deleted app from Mac several times; what I'm trying to get rid of comes back every time.
No app should be this hard!!!! It would be great if you would make it far simpler to go back to scratch when, as people invariably do, fundamental errors are made when setting something unfamiliar up.
I am also scared that if I play around I may end up deleting the 120+ entries I have on my other Mac + iOS devices.
Really not happy now & suggestions I've found on this forum, as noted, have not solved the problem.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having such trouble here!
First of all, please don't worry about accidentally deleting data: in 1Password 4 your data is stored both locally and in the sync source. So even if you remove the data from iCloud accidentally, the data will still be on your other Macs and iOS devices.
I'm glad you were able to find our Starting Over instructions, that's exactly what I would have recommended for you as well.
However, I am curious about why you seem to be unable to sync with iCloud on the third Mac. Please go to System Preferences > iCloud and make sure that you are logged in with the correct account, and that Documents and Data is checked. Once we figure out why iCloud isn't behaving it should be much easier to get your data synced up and into a fresh installation of 1Password 4.
