Sync between 2 Macs not working

Hi!

I am using 1Password 4 and facing a Sync problem between my Macs (Mavericks) and iOS devices.

I use Dropbox Sync but it seems that 1Password.agilekeychain in the Dropbox doesn’t update, although i change or add login data. i.e. when i add new passwords on my iMac and i open 1Password on my MacBook Pro, the new password is not added, although it says that the last Sync was just a few seconds ago in the Preferences.

What i have to do then to make it work is to disable syncing in the preferences and enable it again. After that everythings fine… But thats not how it meant to be i suppose ;-)

The support call fixed my problems. It was a mixture of different special conditions because I was using 1Password since version 3. Disabling Dropbox syncing and moving the keychain, etc. fixed my problems. You should try to contact their great support team, I think that's the best way. :)

    Hi Ben,

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with Dropbox sync lately. We've had a bug in an earlier version of 1Password where 1Password 4.1 Could Lose Sync Permissions after System Restart.

If you purchased 1Password 4 from the Mac App Store, please make sure that you are updated to the latest and greatest version (4.1.2), then go to Preferences > Sync and reset Dropbox sync. This will re-write the permissions and get you syncing again.

If you are still seeing syncing trouble after resetting sync (or if you are using 1Password 4.1.3, purchased from the AgileBits webstore) please let me know and we'll investigate further :)
