how are new beta versions announced?

only here in the forum?
since currently we cannot even start using it (the dropbox link issue)
it won't tell us about a new version (it seems it only does that when
the decision sync via dropbox/local vault has been made.

    When you receive your invitation you get an email with a link for the download.

    If you have not signed up, go to https://agilebits.com/beta_signups/androidnewsletter.html

    I guess you can check on the actual beta download page as well.

    As for the Dropbox issue that some are encountering I would guess it may help to keep trying to sort out what makes the difference between those that have the problem and those where it works fine.

    Once you have received your invitation, you can login into HockeyApp and download the latest version of the beta. If you already have the beta installed on your device, you'll be prompted with an update dialog when it's available.
