1PW4 not autofilling including this site?
I have noticed over the last several weeks that 1PW4 (Version 4.1.3 (413002))
is not autofilling on various sites......
Including this one?!?
Not sure what to do about this or how to correct this action (or lack thereof).
The user names & passwords are defiantly there as I'm having to use the drop down menu then copy the username & password and paste them manually.
Thanks for your assistance in advance.

Hi @iconfessimageek,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble filling and that the article didn't help. I am going to need a bit more information in order to get things sorted out though:
- What version of 1Password do you currently have installed?
- What version is your operating system, and your browser?
- Are you having this problem with a few sites, or does it happen on all sites?
- If it is only happening on a few sites, please provide a few URLs so that we can do some testing on our end.
- Please provide the steps that you are taking to fill sites. Include what you expect to happen, and what actually happens.
The more information we have on your situation, the more quickly we'll be able to find a resolution!

ok so....read Knowledgebase and nothing applies

osx 10.9.1 with Safari Version 7.0.1 (9537.73.11)Are you having this problem with a few sites, or does it happen on all sites?
This appears to be on almost every site I go to. Including this one?!?If it is only happening on a few sites, please provide a few URLs so that we can do some testing on our end.
The list it zoo long to provide....Please provide the steps that you are taking to fill sites. Include what you expect to happen, and what actually happens.
I will head to Bank of America (just an example this goes for all sites).
I will click on the 1PW extension. I then select my BoA login from the drop down.
I select it.... and nothing happens....
I end up having to copy & paste it myself.
I expect for the app/browser plugin to autofill & submit my password info....What actually happens is..... nothing!
I yell at the application and tell it to do it's job.... and it looks at me like a drunkard....lol

Hi, @austinnate.
Thanks for the additional information.
Please try disabling the Animate form filling option under Preferences… > Browser and let us know if that helps:
In some cases it can have a dramatic effect on filling.

So far every site I have visited this seems to have fixed it.
Thanks.
I'll update this thread if it stops.
Thanks for the info!0 -
Thanks for the feedback, @austinnate.
I hope 1P4 never looks at you like a drunkard again. :)

Unchecking "Animate form filling" fixed it for me, too. Safari 7.0.1, 1Password 4.1.3, and 1P extension version 4.0.1.

Hi, @savetheclocktower.
I've noted in our tracker that disabling Animate form filling fixed the filling problems that both you and @austinnate were having with Safari on Mavericks. We've been working on improvements for the next release that should allow filling to work with the option enabled again.

I have the same issue; no auto-fill on any site. Tried the FAQ as referenced above, no solution there nor is turning off the animation option. Using Mavericks, Safari 7.0.1 and 1P4 on rMBP and iMac both with the same problem. Very uncool.
Can I safely go back to 1P3 ? Is there a fix in the works ?

Hi, @yohst.
I'm sorry that filling with 1Password in Safari is stubbornly failing for you. Please make sure you're running version 4.0.1. of the extension:
If that doesn't fix the problem please send us a Diagnostics Report, along with a link to this topic and your forum username, to support+forum at agilebits dot com. A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful.
Once we see the report we'll be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

I just upgraded a few days ago from 1PW3 so I have all your latest versions installed including the 4.1.0 extension. I've just sent the diagnostic report for your perusal.
I did a bit more "testing", there are a few ways I normally interact with 1PW:
- From 1PW, browse to the login, click the link. I expect Safari to open the site and login automatically. I tested a few logins and this seems to work on most sites but not all.
- From within Safari, browse to a site and press CMD \ to log in. I used the same sites in my #1 test. Most of the sites did not log in automatically. Instead, the 1pw mini shows up and shows the shortcut for the site but does not log in.
- From Alfred, I type in the site partial name, Afred finds it with the 1PW indicator showing that it is a site known to 1PW. Return then fires up the site and logs in. This seems to be working all the time.
What is particularly weird is that nothing worked a day or so ago, now some of the sites log in automatically. I did restart the macs after install of 1PW4 but have not since. Generally I keep my macs pretty loaded with a wide variety of applications running.

Hi @yohst,
Since you've sent a message in to support already, we'll take a look at the Diagnostic Report and respond directly via email. The Report should give us a better idea of where things are going wonky, and we don't want to duplicate efforts or cause confusion by keeping this conversation going in two separate locations. :) You should see an email from our support team soon!
