Between a Rock and a Hard Place

I have been a 1Password customer for years, with family licenses for Mac, iOS devices and Windows. Since your update, I can no longer use Dropbox to sync across devices, and I can't upgrade to version 4 because I am running Lion and can't upgrade to Mountain Lion for reasons that aren't relevant, here. Is there a way around this (for example, syncing through another Cloud-based service), or do I have to look at using LastPass or another service instead of 1Password?

Couldn't you still use 1Password 3 on your Mac? It will sync with version 4 on iOS devices through Dropbox, although iOS version 3 no longer works with dropbox because of a change in Dropbox's API. I'm not a Windows user, so there may be a limitation that I don't know about.

    Hi, @lpedro.

Running 1Password 3 on your OS X Lion system and syncing with Dropbox is certainly possible, like @hawkmoth mentioned. It'll work with the current version of 1Password for Windows and upcoming 1Password 4 for Windows. And any other platform/system/device combination you have that supports Dropbox syncing. I hope that helps. :)
