Firefox browser extension is v3.9, but I have 1Password 4
I use Safari, mostly, and there everything is fine. But occasionally I use Firefox, so today I downloaded the Firefox browser extension. It worked. Then I got a pop-up saying I have to uninstall my old v3 browser extension. But my "old" v3 browser extension is the new one I just downloaded! Deleted it, tried again, same results.
So why is the Firefox extension available for download only for v3?
1Password 4
Mac OS X Mavericks
Firefox 26

Hi @ericmacknight,
You might have downloaded the extension from the wrong page on AgileBits website (they still have the v3 ones available there too). Try removing the old one and installing the new one from this page:
Download 1Password 4 Browser Extensions
Hope that helps! :)

When you go to Add-ons and view the extension does it say version 3.9? I just installed Firefox cold and then the browser extension and it says 4.1.

Hi guys,
One way to ensure opening the correct 1Password Extension page for 1Password 4 (in the default browser) is to click
Install Browser Extensions
in the Browser tab of Preferences:0 -
But you are actually showing the Browser tab, not Sync. Browser is the right one.
