Upgrade issues

I am running 1PW-3 on maverick and syncing to laptop via dropbox. I purchased/downloaded-1PW 4 to desktop and unzipped; It placed the app on my desktop. I followed installation directions to drag to apps folder. I then opened the new app icon, I do not recall seeing the migration wizard run however all my data is there. I want to remove the old app without deleting my data. What is the best way of doing this?

    Glad to hear you are getting on board with 1Password 4 for Mac!

    Please drag the old application to the trash and empty the trash. Please do not use any "cleaner" or uninstaller utilities as they may delete your data. Also if you haven't already removed the 1Password 3 browser extensions you can find a guide on that here:
