Chrome keeps asking for permission to the keychain

I recently downloaded 1password 4. I have been using Chrome (specifically Chromium) for a while now without any problems. After the installation of 1password, Chrome has started asking for permission to access the keychain. The precise message is "Chrome wants to use your confidential information stored in "Chrome Safe Storage" in your keychain. I have set Chrome to not save passwords or form fields. But I cannot deny this permission since Chrome keeps on asking for the permission.

Why did this happen? Since this is happening right after my install of 1password, I guess 1password's changes to the keychain might have triggered this. Anyone has a solution to this?

    Hi @hundretwotwo,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your web browser right now. I must admit, I've never heard of this issue before. It does sound a bit more like a Chrome issue as opposed to a 1Password issue though, since the message you are seeing says that Chrome is asking for access.

Could you check in chrome://settings/ and review your settings there?
