Not able to delete items in 4.5b40

A bug under known issues in the release notes states that there is no easy way to delete items from a list, but I have noticed that there is no way to delete items at all. When selecting an item and choosing edit there is no option to delete that item. It used to be where you would scroll to the bottom and there was an option to delete but that does not appear anymore. This is the same on both the iPhone and iPad.
