Unable to edit Address in Identity item [Confirmed on ML, not yet on Mavericks, will fix soon]
What's up with this? I'm using 4.2.2 and can't seem to enter an address because the box is hidden on the form.

Hi @jw34,
Thanks for the report! Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce this issue.
Does it only occur in the Address field of this one item? Or does the same thing occur elsewhere in 1Password? I'm also curious why the default phone field is immediately below the Address header. Could you also please post a screenshot of the entire item with all fields showing?
Thanks in advance! :)

Here are 2 screenshots of a new blank identity. Note on the 2nd one I put the cursor in the area where the address would go like in the movie.
I know this has worked before because I have other Identities filled out with addresses. I can see the addresses for those as I browse through them, but if I choose to edit them nothing is there and I can't edit the address. Very strange.0 -
Here's a movie of a fake identity I created months ago to show someone how 1P worked. Look what happens when I try to edit.

That's a very strange issue, and I've never heard of it before. I'm still not able to reproduce it, and neither can one of my colleagues.
It's very simple, but could you please try re-sizing the details pane and see if that fixes the issue.

I have the same issue. If I click just below the word "address", I see a line, and I can click in it and blindly type in my address, but I don't see the fields. I have just moved and want to change the address, but I'm not seeing the fields to do so.

Here is a screen shot of just the 'address' area of what I see when in the edit mode.
Well, the tiff file didnt seem to show up, but it looks just like the address area in the example posted above by jw34.0 -
I had this bug go away for a short time after I posted, but now it's back. I have no idea what made the address area show up again or what made it go away.

Hi @jw34,
I'm sorry to hear that you're still having trouble with this bug. As @JasperP suggested above, the next time you see this, please let us know in as much detail what you were doing before you noticed this (or let us know if you do anything special - like re-starting your computer - and notice that the bug has gone away). The trouble with a 'sometimes' bug is that it is very hard for our developers to fix something that they cannot see themselves. The more information we have about your system, the better our chances of tracking this annoying little bug down will be! :)

Hi There,
When you click EDIT to change the address of an existing identity, the address disappears and you can't edit it. See this short video using the demo vault:

Am I missing something here?
Thanks!

I'm having the same issue on Mac client version 4.3 (430017)

Hi, just discovered a minor bug in 4.3. When creating a new identity, the address fields are gone and only the phone nos. are available for entry. Strangely enough, when you edit or create an identity from the menu bar icon, those fields are accessible and editable. The info is displayed properly in the app itself, but you can't edit it, or when creating a new identity those fields are simply not visible. Mac OS X 10.8.5 on a MacBook Pro, but I just confirmed this with my client running 10.9.2 on a Retina MacBook as well. See attached "viewing" and "editing."

I too am having this same issue. I am using 1Password4 v4.3 (430017) on OSX 10.8.5. The specifics I can give are probably not too helpful but I'll try. When I create/edit an identity in 1Password, the Address section exists with the accompanying "address" field. When I click on it, I get a very thin entry box that is not tall enough to contain any visible letters. Also, the other entry boxes for the city, state, and zip are completely hidden--there isn't even any space for them to exist because the phone number fields are just below the address section header. If I trust the address fields are there anyway, I can type my address line in the really skinny line that appears when I hover over it, hit tab, enter the city, hit tab, enter the state abbreviation, hit tab, and enter the zip code. When I do this and hit save, the address gets entered correctly. However, I cannot see any of it happening and I just figured this out by guessing the proper key sequence. If I resize the window it does not change the behavior. Once I hit "save" the address then becomes visible. But, if I hit edit, then only the Address section header is visible and the actual address fields disappear and the phone number fields butte up against the address section header where the address entry fields should exist.
Hope this helps solve the bug. I just installed 1Password last week so I have never seen this work in an earlier version. So, I don't know if it is an ongoing or recent bug. As a guy that programs climate models for a living, I know how hard these things can be to track down sometimes. Good luck!

Hi @levin422 and @pixagen
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble here! I've been unable to recreate this bug on my end. In an attempt to narrow this bug down, could you confirm whether you purchased 1Password directly from our website or from the Mac App Store?
Thanks for your help!

I purchased from your website.

Hi @levin422, @pixagen, @altimac, & @wgusnorth,
Thank you all for reporting this! I've merged your posts together with this existing discussion. As you can see above, we've had quite a few reports about this, but so far we've been unable to reproduce this bug on our end.
I've filed a bug report about this, so maybe one of the developers will have an idea why this may be occurring.
If anyone has any information that could help us reproduce it, please let us know. :)

The 4.4 update didn't fix it, but it's definitely a bug. I purchased it on the App Store, so that doesn't seem to be a factor as far as where it was purchased. It worked fine in the pre-4.3 version because I created two identities then and had no trouble editing them. Have you (AgileBits) tried to recreate it under 10.8 as opposed to 10.9?

Hi guys,
@altimac nailed it. It's an issue on Mountain Lion.
I'm confused because you said in the previous post:
but I just confirmed this with my client running 10.9.2 on a Retina MacBook as well. See attached "viewing" and "editing."
Not sure why you can see the bug on Mavericks when we can't.
I've filed a bug report and we'll get this fixed as soon as possible.
