no App Store upgrade notification

I am running 1password version 3.8 and the version check in 1password still confirms that I am running the latest version. I have purchased 1password from the App Store and did not receive any update notice for the new 4.x version. I am running mavericks. Under the purchase tab in the App Store I have 1password listed as installed. I tried the option click trick on the purchase tab to force a download but with no succes. I would like to upgrade to 1password 4. Any idea's on how to proceed?

I'm sorry you're having trouble getting 1Password 4 installed correctly from the Mac App Store.

Please open Launchpad, search for 1Password, and let us know which versions show up there. For example:

If you'd like, take a screenshot and attach it here so we can see what you're seeing. :)

After we've got that we'll have a clearer idea of what to suggest for you to do to fix this. Thanks in advance!

I feel I little stupid:-) there are two 1password items in my launchpad.

Thanks for the helpful image! The first icon is for 1Password 3. The second is for 1Password 4, likely the Mac App Store version.

Have you tried running 1Password 4 yet?
