Just a few Suggestions

Just some suggestions

1) One feature that seems to have been removed in 1Password 4 extension (compared to 3) is the ability to click a '>' arrow on the menu item, to show the full login details.
In 1Password 4, you now have to hover over the entry, wait a while, and eventually a popup appears showing you the full details. Its a bit of an annoyance and I'd love to see the old feature reintroduced.

2) In the browser extensions Password Generator, could we have a button which lets you generate a new password?
Im sure Im not alone in cycling through several generated passwords to find one I like for whatever reason.
Right now that means having to slide the 'length' slider down a notch and back again, just to get a new password. There should just be a button.

3) I'd really love a keyboard shortcut to bring up the password generator. You can press CMD \ to bring up 1Password, but then have to navigate into the generator.

4) Finally, I suggested some time ago the ability to turn off rich icons in the application.
I'm grateful this was added (probably not as a result of my suggestion entirely), but my idea was to then reduce the height of the listbox items, so you can view more domains.
I'm sure many other users are coming from the now defunct Wallet software/extension.
Wallet had an option to show a very compact list, and whilst it seems minor, it was a great option to have

Sorry if I've rambled a bit. All this feedback is just a culmination of using 1Password 3/4 for a while now

Thanks

    Hi @carpii,

    1) One feature that seems to have been removed in 1Password 4 extension (compared to 3) is the ability to click a '>' arrow on the menu item, to show the full login details. In 1Password 4, you now have to hover over the entry, wait a while, and eventually a popup appears showing you the full details. Its a bit of an annoyance and I'd love to see the old feature reintroduced.

If you press the right arrow on your keyboard, the details view will display instantly for the selected item. Does that help?

    2) In the browser extensions Password Generator, could we have a button which lets you generate a new password? Thanks for the feedback. You're not the first one to let us know you'd like to see this.

    3) I'd really love a keyboard shortcut to bring up the password generator. You can press CMD \ to bring up 1Password, but then have to navigate into the generator.

Again, thanks for the feedback. I've added your vote to the existing feature request in our tracker.

In the menu bar, go to View > Item List Layout and select Top. Is that the type of view you are looking for?

Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

    Yes, it does. thankyou :)

Is there a public tracker I should know about, or do you mean this is just an internal tool you use?

In the menu bar, go to View > Item List Layout and select Top. Is that the type of view you are looking for?

Kind of, yes. I like the compact list when its in Top mode, but Id love to see it as a sidebar instead of a horizontal split.

In this mode I'm just interested in seeing as many domains as possible, and less interested in seeing the other columns like username/password (which Top view shows). So for me it would make sense to show a compact left hand list.

    Thanks

    Just an internal tracker. :)
