1Password Mini stopped working
I have version 4.2.2, installed on a 2009 iMac and a 2013 MacBook Air, synced via Dropbox. Both machines are on OS X 10.9.2. I have the Safari 1Password extension installed. 1Password, 1P Mini and the Safari extension had been working on both machines, but now 1Password Mini on the iMac is not working. At the top of the drop down menu, where I would expect to see the name of the website I'm trying to log in to, it has the entry "Get Safari Extension". If I trawl through the menu to the relevant login item, it gives me an error message: Cannot Fill Item in Web Browser: WebBrowser is connected but its code signature could not be verified. I've re-installed the Safari Extension several times, and using the menu from the browser toolbar works fine. It's just the 1P Mini that is the problem. It works fine on the MacBook Air. I've tried disabling Sophos, to no effect.

Hi @mpi,
That really sounds like it could be a Sophos issue. Even though you've already tried disabling it, please give this a quick try:
Configuring Sophos
If that still doesn't fix it, please email us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, along with a link to this topic, to: support+forum@agilebits.com
A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Well, that resolved it. Thank you. But I would love to know (a) why allowing the localhost website would have this effect – surely this implies it's not just a "Sophos issue" but a "1P Mini interacting with Sophos" issue; (b) why it's not a problem on the MacBook Air which has the same configuration. Maybe a bit OT for this thread – perhaps these things are detailed elsewhere.

Hi @mpi,
On behalf of @JasperP, you're welcome! Thanks for letting us know that configuring Sophos resolved the problem.
Sophos has acknowledged it as a defect (in their software):
This has been logged as a defect, so we are aware of it and are investigating further.
Without additional information I'm not sure why you're not having the same issue with 1Password on your MacBook Air. We can help you figure it out if you'd like to send a Diagnostics Report from that Mac, along with a link to this topic, to support+forum@agilebits.com. A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful.

Thanks for this, @oversoul. I decided to pre-empt the issue on my MacBook Air, only to find that 127.0.0.1 was already in place in the Sophos preferences. Don't remember putting it in, or why, but there it is. So the behaviour was consistent after all.
OT: I could only get to this discussion forum via the Contact Us hyperlink. Would it be a good idea to put a Forum Link directly on the Support Page, or at least the KnowledgeBase page?
Thanks for your help.

Hi @mpi,
Thanks for letting us know that Sophos had indeed been configured on your MacBook Air. It could have been interesting if it wasn't while 1Password was working properly. :)
Your "OT" is a good idea and we already have a request in our tracker to increase the forum's discoverability so I've added your comment there.
