Two keys in task bar (each has a different password???)

I have two keys in the task bar, each is found under a different appellation in finder,--1Password and 1 Password 4. Can I delete the first application without a problem? Of course, I would verify the account logins first to make sure I don't lose anything important.

  • Hi @Nan27,

Two instances of 1Password mini occur when both the Mac App Store version (1Password.app) and AgileBits website version (1Password 4.app) are running on your Mac. Which version do you actually use?

Once you've checked that your data matches, you'll basically want to open the version that you don't use, go to 1Password > Preferences... in the menu bar, then to the General tab, and uncheck Always keep 1Password mini running. Quit the app with keyboard shortcut Control+Command+Q, and then delete the app and empty the trash. You should be set!

Please let me know if you need any further help with this! :)
