Feature request: Include QR code generator to share a password with other folks [Could happen]

How about 1Password implementing a QR code generator? It would be nice to convert a Wifi password into a picture inside 1Password to show it to guests who have a QR code reader on their smartphone. I think that would be a good way to share passwords. What do you think the chances are of you implementing this feature? :-)

    Hi @manny,

    I think there's a slight chance but we cannot promise anything. The reason it might happen is that we actually want to do this for the Wi-Fi sync. Instead of inputting the secret code manually, you just use the smartphone to scan the QR code on the Mac or PC to automatically approve your devices. So this feature would also go along with that.

    We'll see what we can for that use case, there might be another way to handle that.

    Hey @manny,

    This won't be the generic solution you pitched, but hopefully we'll keep chipping away at those use-cases. Right now in Beta for mobile and desktop you can help someone join your Wi-Fi network with a QR code!
