Migration from 1P-3 -> 1P-4 and getting old versions of passwords [moved to email]

I've just purchased 1Password 4 family pack and tried to get my previous passwords in. I've disable DropBox sync and exported my details from 1Password-3 via File -> Export All -> 1 Password Interchange Format. I then imported the saved file into 1Password-4 (File -> Import). I seem to get entries in 1-Password 4, but the first item I looked at has an obsolete password value (i.e. a password value that has definitely been changed some months ago). The value is still correct in 1Password-3. This is all on OSX 10.9.2

Getting scared!

Deleted all passwords from 1-P4, emptied trash, quit it and 1P-mini. Relaunched 1P4 and retried import. Now have entries but no passwords at all (field always empty). Really scared :(

The plot thickens. I've now run the process described in http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/start-over.html about a dozen times. I've then take a copy of the agile keychain from 1P-3 and saved it to disk. In finder if I right click I get the option top open the file in either 1P-3 or 1P-4. If I choose 1P-3 I get the latest version of the passwords. If I open in 1P-4 I get old ones.

No happy - it would be catastrophic if I lost my passwords and I've been fighting with this for about 8 hours so far :(

    Hi Adrian,

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having trouble upgrading from version 3 to version 4. I think the most efficient way to get you sorted out here is to take a closer look at just what's going on in your system. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

    http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/diagnostic-report.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
