Integration with iOS App

Hello,
Iam new here, I would like to ask a quick question. We developed application for storing encrypted files on iOS, for security reason we do not use standard UITextField with Password mask, but own password control. Now customer asked us if it would be possible to integrate our App with 1Password. I quickly looked into your API documentation and I found your URL schemes. Please confirm for me - we can open 1Password for user from login screen and search for our app in your DB, but user still have to copy/paste password into our app using clipboard thing (we do not allow paste password yet - currently deciding that). My question is, there is no some magical API (can't imagine how it would work because Sandbox) which will integrate apps together to perform some secure handshake and than transfer password automatically from 1Password over secure channel, right ? Or I did not read carefully.
