Another site that 1Password 4 won't fill - www.express-scripts [resolved with imported item]

It works for me here.

Which version of Mac OS X? I'm on Mavericks (10.9.2), Safari 7.0.3. You're invoking 1P via command-\, and 1Password Mini is hidden from the system menu bar?

You could try re-creating the login manually and then see if the new login works. That sometimes resolves problems like this.

It doesn't save :(

Sorry, the WFM above was for Firefox,
It doesn't auto-fill in Safari. The page opens, but no auto-entry. A subsequent Cmd-\ fills in the username and password and logs-in.

Even command-\ doesn't work for me. It's very strange. The first command-\ just brought up the 1P Mini dialog, but after I hit return, the login/password wasn't filled in. Now, subsequent command-\ do nothing -- unless I hit command-\ many times, and then the dialog will appear momentarily and then disappear :(

Hi @odysseus,
The login form on that site isn't actually on express-scripts.com, it's on a different domain in an iframe.
Could you please try saving a new login for that site on this page: https://host1.medcohealth.com/consumer/site/login
If it's still not working for you, please let me know what version of the 1Password browser extension you are using.

If I use that URL (1P won't prompt me to save from that site), 1P will bring up its dialog when I hit command-\, but no login/password combination is suggested. Safari browser extension 4.1.
I know that web sites are often crazily designed, but this is indicative of the kind of difficulties that I experience with 1P every day.

Hi @odysseus,
Here's a sample Login item I manually saved on the https://host1.medcohealth.com/consumer/site/login page that you can download, import, and test 1Password with: Express Scripts.1pif
If you can get that working try customizing it with your own personal data. It should work fine on both the main https://www.express-scripts.com and https://host1.medcohealth.com/consumer/site/login pages. I hope that helps, :)

I tried importing that file -- and 1Password 4.2.2 crashed immediately :( It's true that I kept my original Express Scripts entry in the database, but that shouldn't have crashed 1P, should it? :(

Hi @odysseus,
Yikes! I'm really sorry you got a crash when importing that item; it imports fine here with 1Password 4.2.2. Have you been having any problems on your system not related to 1Password?
So we can take a closer look at why that crash would happen please send us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, along with a link to this topic, to support+forum@agilebits.com. A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful. Thank you!

I deleted the original Express Scripts item, and I was able to import your file successfully :) And it does seem to work on that site -- I guess I needed both URLs in order to be able to fill the login/password field in the frame within the express-scripts.com web site?

Did the item import fine on your system with an Express Scripts item already in your 1P4 database?
No other problems on my system. I've sent the report.

That sure is peculiar, @odysseus, but I'm glad to hear you got the item imported and working!
We've received your email with the report and someone from our support team will be following up with you more about this.
Interestingly enough, it looks like I've been able to reproduce the same crasher here. :O
Thanks for your help!

I have to say that I'm glad you've been able to reproduce it -- I hate to be alone with this sort of thing ;-)

Reproducible problems are often the best kind and even better once they're gone. :)
