Hi, although I know I have read somewhere that there was an issue with the login icons, I thought it would be adjusted already?

I myself still have numerous grey keyhole like icons instead of an "website" icon?

I do hope you understand what I mean. Is it just my device, or is this still not worked out?
F.e. I have an login voor: www.ah.nl The icon is a grey keyhole instead of the icon of the website.

  • Could you confirm if the website in your login item is http://www.ah.nl and not just www.ah.nl ? The "http://" is required to download rich icons.

  • Hi Yvonne. This is usually the case if our image server does not have a rich icon for the website in your login item. However, I noticed there was a rich icon for http://www.ah.nl/ on 1Password 4 for Mac and iOS. Android uses the same image server so it's a little weird the image is not downloaded. I am going to have our developers investigate into this further, thanks for reporting this.

Hi, I dont know if this was just fixed in the latest update, however I indeed didnt use the http:// ! After changing the webadress appropriate the problem seems to be solved. I now do have a rich icon of ah.nl
    thanks!

Just one last question though..... sorry...
But, why doesn't 1password just autofill the http://
It's quite a pain in the ass to change all my logins and even when adding a new one, to manually add http:// ??

http:// is just one of the protocols used on the internet. There are several different ones out there! We always recommend adding your login items using the browser extension on your Mac or Windows PC. This will save the complete URL including the protocol and the sign in page, so you can take advantage of the go and fill feature offered in 1Password.

Yeah, I understand, but most off the time I'm making a new login on a computer, tab, pad or phone which doesn't have 1password :)
That's the main reason I am so glad the new version of 1password for Android has the ability to create/change logins.
And really, how many times does a regular person use an other protocol than the http://?
But hey Oké, seems like you have given it some thought, that was what I was after...

    Thanks Yvonne

You're probably right, most login items will use http:// or https://. I'll pass on your feedback to our developers so they can review it as a feature request. Please let me know if you have any other questions. :)
