Saving a login manually not working

I had never tried to save a login manually, but my Mint.com login is filling the register fields instead of the login fields.
I followed these instructions: http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/saving-logins-manually.html

But nothing happens when I click Save new login. Tried in both Chrome and Safari (stable). 1Password 4.1.2 from MAS. Chrome extension 4.1.1.90.

  • Hi @galonsky,

I was able to create a working login for Mint.com.

What login page are you using? This one? https://wwws.mint.com/login.event

I was trying to create it on the homepage:
    https://www.mint.com/

It seems like sometimes the homepage has a login form and sometimes not.

I tried manually saving a login on another site, and it worked. So it seems like the problem is isolated to this Mint page.

    Hi @galonsky,

Currently I only see this "Sign up" form on the main https://www.mint.com/ page:

Were you able to create a Login item on the https://wwws.mint.com/login.event page and been able to successfully use it there, and also with the login form you've seen on the main page?

I was finally able to get it working. I think maybe it wasn't giving me the option to save a new login because I already had a login for Mint.com (that wasn't working for that page). The dialog popped up when I tried to save with different credentials than my existing login.

    Hi @galonsky,

I'm glad to hear you've got it working now!

Had you been manually selecting Save new Login under the 1Password mini preferences and not getting the option to save?

Thanks for the followup, @galonsky. That's helpful for something I'm currently testing. :)
