[Bug Report] iOS App Crashes when running "Undo" on empty Master Password Unlock Screen
Bug Description:
When being prompted to enter the "Master Password" a user can crash the application by running "Undo Typing" after a failed password attempt.
Version / Device Information:
- iPhone 5S, iOS 7.1 (11D167)
- 1Password for iOS 4.3.2
Severity:
Low with Minimal Impact
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start the 1Password iOS Application
- Enter a bad / incorrect master password. Wait for "Please try again"
- Shake your iPhone to produce the "Undo Typing" dialog
- Tap "Undo"
- Observe that the application closes to Springboard
Expected Behavior:
There should be no option to undo typing, as you have a failed master attempt in addition to a cleared password field. In fact, shaking the device should not produce any undo option, as there is no text to undo.
Actual Behavior:
The dialog displays to "Undo" text, but this must be problematic as it can't undo the field after a failed attempt because it has been cleared.
Troubleshooting and Testing:
Attempting to see if it can be disabled or avoided, I discovered that you can undo typing on the field, but it only clears the entire field.
Workaround:
There is no known workaround at this time.
Additional Details:
I allowed the application to generate and submit a crash report around 1:09 Pacific Time on 2014 / 04 / 08

Hi @Urda,
First of all, thanks for making my life infinitely easier - that's the easiest bug report I have ever filed! All I needed to do was copy and paste. :) I can confirm that I am seeing the same behaviour both in 4.3.2 and the latest betas, so I've passed this along to our tech gurus and we'll do our best to get this sorted out just as soon as possible.
Keep being awesome - and let us know if you notice anything else wonky about 1Password!
