Upgraded to 1Password 4 but 1Password 3 logins have not been migrated across [moved to email]

After a frustrating few hours I have managed to decipher the instructions sufficiently to sync and then uninstall 1Password 3 Safari extension, download/install the 1Password 4 upgrade, enter master password & open vault and install the Safari 1Passsword 4 extension. Unfortunately none of my login details from 1Password 3 have been migrated across/recognised by 1Password 4. I would appreciate any suggestions.
