Regression Bug: Mini Generated Passwords not Being Saved in App

The old bug prior to the release of 4.0 is back. After the Heartbleed situation, some of my sites were updated. I went to update the passwords, generating them form the Safari pop-up menu, and choosing "update login" as I did so. The updates were neither saved to the login (I had to do it manually and reset my password 2 or 3x in some cases before I figured out what was happening), and the damn passwords themselves are nowhere to be found in the "Generated Passwords" area of the desktop App. I'm sorting by recent, and even though I've generated about 10 passwords for 3 or 4 sites in the last 48 hours, passwords from 72 hours ago are the latest ones shown.

I suppose it could be a corrupted preference file or something but it's causing concerns for me with all this heartbleed stuff going on. The last thing I need is problems with the one piece of software I always rely on. Please help / get a fix. :)

Another thing that is not being saved: When you generate a password from within the Desktop app via New > Login > popup password widget, those passwords also do not show up in the list of generated passwords right now. The only thing that's changed in my setup recently is a new SSD-based computer (Mac) vs old HDD model. Is there something about how the keychain files / data files work, where they get stored differently on an SSD? Data entries more prone to getting lost / not recognized or something?

Should not be the case but it's the only variable I can think of. Also: zero problems with other apps using this SSD (new Mac Pro). Other than these issues with 1P everything else is working perfectly.

I'm seeing the same problem, which is distressing since I just recommended my parents start using 1Password this morning. Until this is fixed I have to tell them to avoid it and consider a different program.

I am having a similar problem. Frustrating to go back to writing passwords in a text note. Especially when I missed the discounted price for 1P4! Joking a little bit, because 1P3 was so good I did not begrudge the company to earn a good profit. I hope this problem is addressed soon so I can go back to recommending the app.

    Hi @Geno71‌, @cgiard, and @klbull‌

I'm so sorry to hear you've been having trouble here. I'd like to take a closer look at your system to find out where things are getting tangled up here. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

    http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/diagnostic-report.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

    .

Thanks for the response Megan. I'll try to get a report to you guys the next day or two. Meantime not sure I follow the address you gave; are you saying those are two emails, one support @ and one forum @, or is the + literally in the address? Sorry if that's a dumb question but not sure what to make of it since I've sent something to support @ in the past I believe.

The support+forum@... address is a single email address. I.e., you just send one email to it!
